Single Cable Handler Assist Part No: 0020

Safety note;  Using a cable handler assist enables mine personnel to stand clear of the miner whilst it is in operation.
 

Quality Features

  • The photo above shows a Single Cable Handler Assist, mounted in a 3 Hole Bolt on Quick Attach Bracket P/No 0085 on the right hand rear of a remote control miner and it can be also fitted to the Left Hand side.
  • Keeps both the cable and water hose well clear of the tracks.
  • The main body is encapsulated in polyurethane which provides flexibility and rigidity.
  • Please note that the cable is clamped in Polyurethane clamp blocks (Manufactured to suit the Outside diameter of your Cable).
  • The photo above shows a Polyurethane Spiral P/No 0036 wrapped around the miner cable to help prevent sheath damage when the cable rubs against the rib.

Important !!

You must allow enough slack cable from the Miner Plug to the cable Handler so it can work through its full arc.

  • The Flexi Arm Cable Handler slots into a 3 Hole Bolt on Quick Attach Bracket P/No 0085,on the right hand or left hand rear of your remote control miner approx 1mtr above floor level.
  • Ideal if you are working a double side return.
  • Keeps your cable away from the tracks of your miner whilst tramming forward or in reverse.
  • Zip Tie and Lash your cable and water hose to the Flexi Arm main body as shown above.
  • Hi visibility strap P/No 0052 ST available from Abtrov.

  • The Double Cable Handler houses your miner cable on top and your Water Hose in the blue Blocks underneath.
