The photo above is a Sleeved Anti-shock Shuttle Car Cable Anchor c/w 2ton Sling Hook Part No 0052 SAS 

The Anti shock Anchor has a built in Shock Absorbing Polyurethane Ring.
 
The instant a load is applied the Poly Ring commences to elongate and works as a shock absorber, protecting your cable (especially repaired cables) and smoothes out the 70 - 90 kg shock load that your cable would receive prior to the activating the initial movement of the Anchor Spring.

Sleeved Cable Anchors are strongly recommended for mines with Methane Gas present.

  • Polyurethane sleeve to eliminate possibility of spring and shackle coming in contact with the roof plate, strap, mesh or conglomerate roof.
  • Pull test certified spring. (certificate number ADD032)
  • Hi Visibility Strap c/w Shock absorbing Polyurethane Ring and Strap Protector.

Horizontal Swivel Mount Part No 0109 HSM

To give maximum SAFETY Protection to your personnel in situations whilst anchoring pulling or snatching from a roof bolt e.g. Cable Anchoring, Belt Jib Installations, Boot ends etc.

Utilize the Pull test certified Horizontal swivel mount.

When equipment is to be held in position by forces other than vertical the horizontal swivel mount allows you to pull from a position of maximum strength by transferring the pulling force through the roof bolt at the neck of the bolt to the nut, not an exaggerated leveraged force which is applied when placing a threaded loop on the end of the roof bolt tail.

Installing the Horizontal Swivel Mount

  • The Recessed hole fits over your existing roof bolt and nut as per photo below.

  • A M24 Keeper nut supplied with every Horizontal Snatch Mount (HSM) must be a fully engaged nut with thread protruding through( as shown above)
  • Pull the nut up tight to the HSM then back off a ½ turn so the HSM can centralize and rotate in the direction of the pulling force.
  • Max SWL 3250 kg Pull test certificate number 6741.
  • A copy of Pull test certificate supplied with 1st order of this product for your records.
